India's per capita income continues to be the lowest in the world, despite being the fastest growing economy in the world.

While India will be amongst the richest countries in the world, its citizens will not be as wealthy as average Americans or Europeans.

We will still lack skilled labour.

Failure in quality education, lack of traditional and vocational training and policy blunders make it imperative that we need a structural change.

Number of children who cannot complete their education will not decrease.

57% of youth suffer some degree of unemployment.

90% of jobs require vocational skills

300 million youth will enter the labour force by 2025

25% of the the world's workers in 4 yrs will be Indians.

90% of our college output has bookish knowledge

58% of graduates make less than 75 000 per year

90% of jobs in India are skill based.

Youth unemployability is a bigger crisis than unemployment as poor quality of skills or education show up in low incomes rather than unemployment. The discontinuation of education leads to the accumulation of job seekers in the bottom of the education pyramid. We must ensure that every one we know completes their education.

855 crores could make the life off those poor ppl...who hv neither food,water or shelter livable !!
